So i even tried googling it and i got no results because everything is pre dental related lol. i just wanted to know what are the classes that are taught in dental school, per semester, per year.
are there any math classes in dental school?
is there physics or chemistry being taught in dental school or is it just only bio courses such as microbio, immunology, etc...
i would really like to know this info about dental school itself. i can only find pre req requirements for each school lol.

No math or physics. Lots of biology and dental anatomy, ethics, etc. Some schools have their schedules on their websites. I encourage you to search that information for yourself.

You can definitely google the curriculum. Type in the school name and dental curriculum. They list it out from D1-D4. Not all schools will be the same. We’ve had physics and chemistry incorporated in certain courses from Radiology to Dental Biomaterials. It’s also brought up in Physiology. You won’t do any heavy math, but you’ll be doing some formulas and small calculations.

There is almost no math in dental school outside of figuring out what you need to make on the final exam to get the grade you want.

For my school the harder memorization classes were gross anatomy, histology, biochemistry, pathology, and oral pathology. I am sure I missed a few but thise were the one I remember needing to study more than just the night before the exam.

oh great!!
Do you know if is similar to college in the way that you can not take a class early in hopes of taking one later with a different professor or what not? Or is it that every d1 is in this one specific class at this certain time. Is it like high school in that regard?

Also, how does it work? Is it where you can pick your classes each semester? How many credits per semester usually?

In my school we had a big lecture hall and all students in your class took the same professor at the same time. There were some classes where you might take it with a smaller group at different times but those were usually smaller less significant classes and all students took all the same classes each year.

Dental school is very different from undergrad in the aspects you are asking about. When it comes to classes and professors, it is more like elementary school where you and your classmates are in a cohort and you take all classes and labs together with the same professors. They may split you up into different lab groups/times depending on space and availability, but you have almost no say in what you take or when. Schools may offer electives that you can take, but most times, you don’t even register for classes because everyone takes everything together so the registrar just enrolls everyone at the same time.
