Friend is debating whether she should write about a GPA inconsistency in secondaries. ~3.8 GPA, mostly As and some Bs with one C- in Gen chem, and she ended up retaking the class. Did have some family issues/struggle during that time which affected performance, but would you count a C- as a GPA inconsistency that needs to be addressed, especially since she ended up retaking the class?

No.

Your friend should not write about a single C- as a GPA inconsistency in secondaries, unless the secondaries specifically ask your friend to write about that single C- grade. Plain and simple.

detailed explanations or for those applicants who screwup more than Two years of college, drop out of their first degree, etc. For example I know a non-trad Who was told by the Dean to leave school before he was kicked out for having a nearly 0 GPA (no joke). Eventually he went back to college and did well and explains his first experience due to his “majoring in party and minoring in frat.” anyone who has ever been to college, knows Those kind of students. No further explanation was necessary. This person is now medical Director of 60 ICU beds across three hospitals
Was his name Bluto Blutarsky, per chance?
