I think I know the answer to this, but wanted to get another opinion. I started a biotech company (very early stage) and had an opportunity to create a poster of our company/our progress and present it at a conference. Part of the conference is a pitch competition. Due to Covid, they cancelled the poster segment and moved the pitch competition online. I realized that I'm basically just presenting my poster, but with a lot more passion for the pitch portion. Do you guys think I could put that on my CV (future residency app) as a poster presentation or would that not fly?

Just clarifying for the online part what where you presenting? Your poster?

Hey, thank you for replying. That's a good question. I'm presenting a pitch deck of 5 slides, 4 of which I used to make the poster I was going to present. In short, no, I'm not presenting a poster. Instead, I'm presenting the same infographics and information in a powerpoint format that would be on my poster. Kind of a stretch I guess haha I've never seen the ERAS template. Do I have to mark "poster" "abstract" etc. or can I just put under that section "Pitch competition presentation" and list the experience?

There should be an area just called "presentations" from what I recall on ERAS. I would put it there.
