What did/do you do to prepare for the MCAT?

I really need to do well on the MCAT, but am not planning on taking it for a year or two. What did you all do to prepare for the MCAT. What helps, what doesnt? Thanks.

TIMED PRACTICE TESTS. As many as you can get your hands on. Buy them all, then stack them up and do them once per week under real conditions for 3 months before the exam. Use the week in between to practice the stuff you sucked at.

Where do you go about getting these? Also, what are the core courses I should review for the individual MCAT sections? Thanks.
