Have you interviewed at Downstate Girlsporty? I feel like calling Mr. Rosso at buffalo every single day but I know he will get annoyed. This waiting is driving me crazy.

presecondary rejection from UC Davis (my primary got to them 8/1). I hate that I am seriously going to have to reapply this year. feel like crap🙁

Sorry Daydreamer, hope you don't have to but if you do, good luck! Was the UCD rejection e-mail or snail mail? Im still waiting to be completely kicked out of California and only UCD and USC are still holding out on me...
 
I got a rejection letter from Creighton (yesterday) and a rejection letter from RWJMS (day before yesterday)

can i ask what state you are from? i would think that creighton would want to take more people from the east coast

Yes, purometal, I interviewed in September at Buffalo and February at Downstate. It's so hard to wait!!! I don't think Mr. Rosso is really the type to get angry or annoyed, though. He seems to have quite a lot of patience.
 
Last night I received a rejection letter from GW which brought moral to an alltime low, especially since the Dean of Admissions interviewed me there and said "I think you'll be a great fit for GW"... go figure


but today I got my first offer from Albany 🙂 so it's back to being happy 🙂

I'm on the waitlist at Creighton. I found out today over the phone. Does anyone know how many people they take off the waitlist? I'm wondering if it's only 5 or 10 or if it's something like 30-50. I really have no idea. Does anyone know this?

Today I received a swift kick in the nuts from Columbia - waitlisted.
 
I received nothign in the mail...and I felt a sense of happiness come over me.

The mail is a death sentence of rejection these days :laugh:

I just got in from Philly and I found out I got into Hawaii!!!

This is my first acceptance, so I'm kinda going nuts ... partly because it's 2 a.m. and I've gotta catch a train back to school in like 4 hours ... that and there's nobody to celebrate with right now because everyone's sleeping!

This is normally true. The dean told me that once you are interviewed, your interviewers submit reports to the admissions committee.

Each applicant's file is presented to the committee by one ADCOM member and the ADCOM members rate the applicant from 1-10 (secret ballot). Most people are admitted in April, but if an applicant scores an average of 9.0/10 or higher, then that applicant is admitted right away.

This is what he told me during my interview.

I got an email when I asked about my application status (pre-interview) from Dr. Sanford saying that there was a hold status on my file and they would make a decision about whether to interview me at the end of Feb. I haven't heard of anything yet as of now. Yet you cannot give up hope, right?!

So im wondering if this could be a sign of good news maybe? or maybe it is a new procedure from uconn this year, or maybe since I interviewed in december this year, as opposed to late jan last year? Anyone have any ideas?

what i expected all along - a harvard rejection.
in the past 2 weeks also got rejections from tufts and ucla (post secondary)

this sucks.

An update from VCU saying that my file was still being reviewed for an interview. Oddly enough, their status log-in page says they are done interviewing for the season.

This doesn't make any sense!!
