I'm not hearing anything about Tufts acceptances. Did they only give out rejections/waitlists/activeconsiderations? Anyone get an acceptance this week?

It is just because everyone on SDN finds you annoying and wishes you would decide to become a chiropractor or a dental hygenist and just go away. You have very bad karma.

I got the rejection from Kentucky about the same time as you. They sent me a letter in the fall basically saying unless I had ties to the state (which I don't) I wouldn't be getting in. So, I basically took that as my rejection. Then I got the official one and thought "Do I really need to be rejected twice by you?" 😕

I received, actually on Friday, a scholarship for half tuition from a NY school. I am sooo happy. I thought it was a letter rescinding my acceptance.
 
So I'm not too obsessive about checking the mail, mainly because i know it's usually just rejections... anyways i received a creighton post-secondary rejection today, and i guess they think i'm such an awful candidate i can't even make it in medicine.. i mean "My best wishes for the successful realization of your PROFESSIONAL school goals." Not MEDICAL school like all the other sugar-coated rejections, medical school... and "I fully realize the extent of your disappointment" I didn't want to move to nebraska THAT badly.. 😡

sorry just venting, no offense to anyone in proffessional schools or nebraska or creighton.. 😀
 
Were the Tufts rejections pre- or post-interview? Waiting for snail mail sucks in Hawaii. We get everything about a week after the rest of the civilized world does!

Interview at Saint Louis in April - does anyone know if they're interviewing for seats in the class still, or are they filling their wait list?

Anyone else notice a HANDWRITTEN signature on their Columbia rejection?? I find that to be extremely impressive. Whether it was Dean Frantz or a secretary, that's still thousands of letter handsigned. Props to P&S.

Pre-interview rejection from Tufts, RWJ, and AECOM. I'd forgotten I applied to Tufts, actually...

Icy snarl from the lady checking my Sinai status over the phone. Maybe 6k or so people calling for their Monday afternoon hand-holding made her grouchy.
 
Two rejections, Ann Arbor and UNC (CH)...the latter makes me angry because they told me I had an interview and then rejected me pre-interview...

yup, i noticed the hand- written signature and showed it to my sister. it definitely made me feel better about the whole dang application process. 🙂

It really is the little things. Even if they took the extra $750,000 in application fees they received to pay a kid from Morningside Heights to sign them. It's the thought that counts.

Still, it amounts to the same as the rejection letters being used as toilet paper. (Ye-owtch!)

If they're going to sign rejection letters personally, maybe they can have celebrities do it so we can at least sell them on Ebay. If UCSD got LaDanian Tomlinson to sign rejection letters, or maybe Elton Brand to sign Duke's letters...
 
Waitlisted by Northwestern...3rd waitlist in 3 days, plus a rejection on saturday..

well, props to them on the hand-written sig...but unprops to them on missing two words somewhere in the middle of the paragraph. read carefully...if you got the same letter as me, you'll see what i mean. come on people, it's called PROOFREADING!!

btw...yesterday was a high score for me: 3 rejection letters in one mail check! columbia, northwestern, and baylor.
 
Got the pre-interview rejection from Northwestern. I thought they had the nicest letter yet.

I am sorry to hear that. But you still have a chance of getting in. Don't give up hope now. When did you interview?

Oh wow. I would have cried, too. I stiill may, if they get around to reviewing my case!

But it seems that spring consideration is better than waitlisting! This way you can still be directly accepted.
