and a death rattle "hold" email from Albany
 
I got my acceptance package from Wayne State! 😱

And a new cell phone 👍
 
Whoops...ok, I haven't been keeping up to date

All within the last week
1.) Call-in, found out I was waitlisted at Wayne State (letter received today.)
2.) E-mail rejection from U of Colorado (no interview)
3.) E-mail rejection from MSUCHM (no interview)
4.) Interview Invite from A.T. Still Mesa (D.O.) via e-mail today.
(Should I go to this?)

McMaster interview invite (Canada)!

WashU pre-interview rejection ... expected!
 
Interview invite from Emory today! Totally did not see that coming.
 
I received a "you are complete" email from RWJMS. Too bad I sent all my stuff last fall. The email says their interview season runs through March so I think it's their non-confrontational way of telling me I'm rejected.
 
Yesterday I got:

A) Email rejection from UC Davis
B) Letter rejection from Brown (but I knew it was coming from the status page)
C) Letter rejection from OHSU (but I withdrew last summer???)
D) Letter rejection from UCSF (ouch)

I think it was a record day for me.....

oh my... i believe you had the worst day yesterday. hopefully you had some warm home cooking, some wine, and some good friends/husband/family time... these things really are like breakups... only we pay them to judge us...

Oh yeah, I almost forgot:
1.) Rejection from my girlfriend at the beginning of the application cycle (via phone). Wrote letter of intent; no appeal.
 
An acceptance to Jefferson!!! My number one choice! Wohoo!!
 
A Cornell interview via email (BIG surprise since I had already given up hope on them) and my MSSM acceptance via snail (complete with drug test forms?😱) 😀
 
Received a NYMC interview invite through e-mail!!🙂
 
I got a rejection letter from RFU today. I was pretty sad. Then I read where it was from. Interestingly, it is from RFU but it says from Dr. William M. School College of Podiatric Medicine. never applied to podiatry school. I am sad/confused
 
everyone with an interview invite to NYMC today.. is ur last name beg, middle or end of the alphabet... wondering if there is some sort of pattern ..
 
Just got a weird update from Cin. saying my status changed (pre-interview)...logged in, and there is no change.

My status page at U of cincinnati states that I will not be offered an acceptance for the entering class. It is all the way at the bottom of the status page

I'm due to hear either in this cycle or the next round (mid-Jan interview)

And am at work until fifty-two o'clock or so.

haha...oh no..... sorry StringerBell. She probably just rejected you because you're over-qualified 🙂
 
I got a response to my phone call to Jefferson. Correspondence was sent out a week ago.. Doesn't sound like good news. Sigh.
 
Some coupons for pizza hut and KFC. At least I can get a medium one-topping pizza for $5.99 while I wait.
 
I got shorted on my paycheck. Which arrived today.

Gotta go figure that one out!

That probably isn't the case for med school, though. 😳
 
Could everyone that got an invite also list when they were complete? And could everyone that got accepted list when they interviewed? I think that'll help all the people (like me) who haven't received news yet but are due to anyday. Thanks!!!!
 
just got a michigan rejection in the mail, bastards i paid them 120,000 to go there engineering, and now they just took a little more of my money
 
Has continued to not call. Anyone else get a call who interviewed after the first of the year?

They told us last week. I called for a status update, and they said this week. Bah. I'm getting twitchy just waiting!
 
I just got a response to a strong letter of interest I wrote two weeks ago. I'm hoping this means I'm accepted whenever decisions come out -- "we will keep you very strongly in mind." I haven't had an acceptance yet so this is a bit reassuring. 🙂

To those that haven't gotten an interview yet, there is still hope. Stats weren't too great: 3.18 overall, 3.12 science, 33M MCAT.

Vanderbilt? Or are you doing your undergrad there? What's the scoop?

IMHO, KFC is not as good as Popeye's.
