this may sound like a very ridiculous question and it probably is...but what do adcoms do with applications after the process is over?
my brother who's in med school asked me to look through his laptop today to find a copy of his application from two years ago because he wants to refer back to it, but I formatted his hard drive about a year ago when he gave it to me, so all of his files are gone. He's a bit mad but there was a miscommunication between us so I thought he didn't need it anymore, so I erased everything and have been using it since. He wants to extract something from his med school app, maybe refer to his PS or his activities or something but doesn't have a copy anymore because of me.
I want to tell him to go to his adcom and ask for a copy since they should have a copy of it? Is that a dumb idea?
