As I have said in the past, I have a weak undergrad record, but I feel I have partly made up for that with a graduate gpa of 3.4. I have an 18 on DAt, but I had a 14 on PAT, and 14 on QR. Anyways, it is also importasnt to note I am a Pa resident, so I am shying away from schools that accepth a majority of in state students. here is my list, let me know what you think

Premedman, I feel like you should definitely remove buffalo and minnesota off your list, those are die-hard state schools, they show high preference towards their in-state students, i dont know your situation, but if you can afford to take the DAT over and improve on the those 14's, you will have a good shot on gaining acceptance somewhere, I dont mean to scare you, but 18+ has practically become the national average on all sections (RC is even higher), if you got an 18 on your entire DAT, that means you got a 22AA( 😕 ), inspite of the 14QR, so you obviously have the ability to get 20+'s 👍 on the test, you have or you will have a grad degree while applying so you have an advantage over nearly every applicant, but your advantage will quickly be countered with those 14's if you choose not to retake the test, contact all of the schools your applying to and ask them what competitive stats for admittance should be around, remember stats are not the only thing that get you into dental school, but that DAT can bite you in the a$$ if you let it! Unless you're URM, I would seriously consider removing Howard and Meharry as well. And if you're not pretty dedicated to some religious or spiritual activity, I would also suggest nixing Loma Linda.

I would apply to less schools and retake the dAT. YOu have plenty of time. Will save you a lot of cash, too.

I believe that keeping a good relationship with the schools YOU are interested in helps. I suggest calling them and talk to the admission advisors and if u could visit them that would be a great idea as well. I believe if u do apply to many schools you have a good shot at some of them.

I beg to differ. Buffalo accepts a lot of non-residents. I'm the case and have seen many others this year.
