So I was waitlisted at NYU two years ago, since then I have joined a masters program at BU School of Medicine. Today I recieved an interview invitation in which I scheduled it for friday- April 28th. Do you guys think that I have a good chance of getting in? Also, has anyone interviewed in april and recieved acceptances. I just hope that I am not interviewing for the waitlist. Also, if you guys can give me any advice for this interview, I would really appreciate it, thanks so much

It's hard to say. One thing is for certain and that is if you don't go your chances of matriculating to NYU drop significantly. Working on a masters at BU certainly bodes well for you. Best of luck! 👍

I dunno about any specific advice that would help you at NYU but I can tell you the interview seemed very relaxed for me. The interviewer sits there and looks through your academic folder while you're sitting their sweating, waiting. If he/she sees something he does not like, he'll ask you so just be honest and explain what happened. I think it's also a good idea to be casual. I was sucking down a cup of coffee while I interviewed while the interviewer scarfed down a muffin in his office. I think you'll be impressed by the aesthetics of the school.
