So, today I took the DAT for the second time. Here are my scores:
PAT: 22
QR: 21
RC: 21
BI: 20
GC: 20
OC: 17 😡
TS: 19
AA: 20
That OChem score really upset me, but I hope it won't hurt me too much. On top of that I have a 3.41gpa, my degree is now complete (B.S. in Biology with minors in chem & human physiology), over 200 shadowing hours, and 2.5 years of research experience (molecular biology).
I am applying to 19 schools (OHSU #1 Choice). How are my chances?
Last year I applied to 15 schools and got waitlisted at 4 (OHSU, Tufts, Temple, and Marquette). My GPA was about 3.39, I had half the shadowing hours year less of research work, and I hadn't finished my B.S.. Plus, my DAT scores were considerably less:
PAT: 19
QR: 20
RC: 22
BI: 18
CG: 17
CG: 17
TS: 17
AA: 19
I guess my big question/concern is...have I improved enough to get in this year? Any thoughts?
