What do you know about these programs?

Hi everyone,

I've been reading the threads on this forum for awhile now, but this is my first time posting. 🙂

I'm a senior undergrad in the process of trying to narrow down my list of schools to apply to. I've got a few "safety picks" to ask you all about (of course, all clinical programs are very competitive, so "safety pick" is a relative term here!). These are schools that have faculty members I'd like to work with but where I'm concerned about the quality of the program, based on the rankings I have access to. Rankings aren't everything though, and I'd like to know what you all think of the folllowing schools:

University of Louisville
Southern Methodist University
Saint Louis University
University of Missouri - Kansas City

Any and all thoughts are welcome!

I do have info on UMKC from a close source, although it is now 4 years old and things may have changed...

I know/knew a couple of UMKC people. All and all it seems like a good program. They have some nice practica placements and KC isn't a bad place to live.

Does anyone else have any info at all? I'd appreciate any additional thoughts! Also, to add to my list, what about SUNY-Albany or Syracuse? Any opinions about their programs?
