I know this might be a stupid question and I would appreciate if people don't give me a smartass answer saying "look this up yourself" but I was wondering what you all know about the following schools in terms of: location (safety of area), facilities, clinics, cost of living, etc. Any pros and cons about each of the schools listed below?

UNC, New Jersey, Temple, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, State University of New York (Buffalo)

Thanks so much!

Buffalo is cold and depressing.

I can only comment about Temple, as one of my mentors went there. I guess it is in a really sketchy part of the city. He said peoples cars gotten broken into all the time.

Consequently, because of its inner city nature, it also has a huge patient base. Temple seems to have a reputation as a stronger clinical school.

Thanks. Can anyone else chime in about these schools?

Buffalo will make you do ALL lab work for clinic. As in casting all your crowns and processing dentures. I'd avoid it like a plague just for that reason.
