I need to take the lecture portion of Gen Chem and Orgo only. I did great in the lab sections when I was in college. What do you all think about taking courses online?

Taking a class online is nice but at the same time if you tend to get behind then you will have a hard time catching up.

These courses were from REAL colleges that offered online clases, not like U of Pheonix or Walden University (which are online universities). The funny thing is that this same class is also offered on campus at the college, and the people who take it online have no different a transcript than those who took it on campus. AACOMAS and med schools accepted these classes just fine.
You should check out the SUNY Learning network (do a Google search). It lists all New York State REAL colleges/universities that offer online classes (meaning although you take the class online, your transcript will list it as a regular class taken on the campus). They offer tons of natural science classes. However, I would not recommend taking your science pre-reqs online, since you just will not really learn as much as if you took it in a classroom, in my opinion.
Good luck!
