Took my DAT couple days ago and I'm worried that this score is not good enough for me to get accepted into a school. what do you guys think?

Bio: 20
GC:18
OC: 18
PAT: 21 ( 13 first time)
RC: 20
QR: 18

TS:19 ( 16 first time)
AA:19 (16 first time)

my Cum GPA is 3.2 and science GPA is 3.2. I know my GPA is not good at all, was hoping for a 20+ in DAT but I guess I"ll take the 19. I just hope they see the improvement. thanks guys

I recommend purchasing the online edition of the 2014 ADEA guide. It'll have the admissions stats for all the schools, and you can decide for yourself if your stats are strong enough for your prospective schools. That said, I usually see advice to the effect of "offset a weak GPA with a strong DAT, or vice versa". Your DAT will be average for most schools, and your GPA will be below average.

With below average GPA you would have had a decent shot if you blew the DAT out of the water. Now with an average score, odds are against you unless you have great extracurricular activities and LORS.

His scores are above average (17). Most schools have an average of acceptance of 19. It will be close, but if you choose the right schools, you should have a shot.

The accepted student AA average is slowly creeping up, with the most recent being 19.8 in the 2013 guide if I remember correctly.

Op, your best shot at an acceptance will be to apply very broadly, including most big, expensive, private schools.

The number of applicants went down as well though. I think a 19AA is still competitive.
