Career wise, what do you want to be?
Nah it's sort of referencing a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I also thought it sounded cool lol.I wana be a physical therapist with a personal training side job. What about you op? And ^is your name a reference to a song? Perhaps by David banner?
I want to either be an OB/GYN or a neurosurgeon. I love the surgery aspect to both, although I hate spinal surgery, the bones freak me out! So, yeah, I would exclusively operate on brains.

I'm leaning more towards finance and business maybe getting a MD/MBA and not doing a residency
Who knows. But I'm definitely leaning more towards Finance, investing and business

You should do that. You could go into the medical insurance management or something. Or the medical technology business.
I feel like being a healthcare executive would be better for me, maybe being a CFO and moving my way up.
And if anyone was wondering what medical specialty I would pick, it would be Otolaryngology/Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine is great for people who like to think. Otolaryngology would be my choice because I like using my hands and thinking. I consider myself a doer that likes to think. =
Not sure really. Hoping someone can give me some advice.
I want to deal with patients and do research as well. Perhaps in computational biology creating mathematical models. MD/Phd maybe?

If your goal is to do research you might want to do MD/PhD. It will be highly beneficial for getting research grants, and more importantly; jobs. There is research going on in every field of medicine, so choose what interests you the most. What about an Internal Medicine subspecialty like endocrinology?

I'm pretty certain I'll enter a surgical field assuming the match goes well for me in 5-6 years. After that I'll probably try to sub-specialize within surgery as I'm not all that interested in General Surgery. I'm thinking Vascular, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, or Neuro right now. I'm not completely ruling out General Surgery or any specialty for that matter because I haven't been through rotations or experienced any of these fields beyond shadowing. I could end up in something completely different, but right now I'm heavily swayed towards surgery.
EDIT: It's likely I'll end up in General Surgery after the horror stories I read on this forum about the hell GS interns and residents go through. Not sure I'll want to specialize any further if residency is really terrible. haha
what ever do you mean?
