it says in barons DAT that ch3nh2 is more basic than c6h5nh2? can someone explain to me the relationship of carbon length and basicity?

carbons are electron donating. More C, ie. longer chains make the amine group more electron densed. More electron densed means more able to pick up a proton, hence more basic.
