In light of the theme of pictures being posted lately, and with it officially being the weekend...I'm going to post some party pics as well!

Random shot someone took of me at my old house last summer. I am not responsible for what some people wrote on our dry erase bar in the background.

This was a picture from our Christmas Date party (which is supposed to be cocktail attire), but the seniors decided to go in Tacky Christmas! Much more fun I think!

Sweet shot at this club called Palladium in Acapulco. Those are sparks coming down outside the windows. The whole place lit up, it was awesome.

I know! I'm so glad that my camera caught that moment in action, because it pretty much sums up how we all felt about that stupid guy all week! He seemed to find us every night and some how make one of my friends mad.

He has this thing where one of his eyes will wander off to the side (both of them do it). It's been getting better with the eye drops but he said compared to other kids my son's control is poor. My husband wants to ask more questions though to see if there are any alternatives but we have to wait until the pre-op appointment. 🙁

True. I feel the same way most days. Until I hang out with my best friend who is like 6'4" 240. Then I just feel like a big buff average height guy, rather than a big buff (kinda)tall guy.

i played football my freshman year, so i made some of my closest friends on the team that first year and we are still all really close.......every single one is on the offensive line. the 3 best friends i always hang out with are above 6 foot.... the biggest is around 6'7...then there is 6'3 and 6'1.....HAHA. i look pretty tiny walkin aroudn w/ them. but at least i have body guards.

No freakin joke. I've been trying to go mountain biking all week, but all its done is rain. Though it has made rafting fun the past few days, and its getting us over the drought situation we were in last year, I still wish it would dry out so I can go biking.

I actually JUST started playing last week..except that I pulled my achilles at practice on Tuesday so now I'm hobbling around and icing my ankle all the time hoping that I'll be able to get back in next week! I'm hoping that I'll be able to play while I'm in school...obviously I won't be able to make it ALL the time..but hopefully most of the time!

I wasn't gonna say anything hehe. But yeah, that's the guy from Eureka. 🙂

I used to do a lot of work for a company that puts on comic/scifi conventions. A few weeks ago I got to meet Adam West and George Takei!

...I'm going to miss those shows when I'm in school.

hehe. I didn't mean the TV shows 😛 I meant working for the comic/sci-fi shows. I doubt I'll have the time to do the traveling I've been able to do the past few years. Case in point: April 17th I'm flying up to NYC for a show (not because I'm working, just because someone's appearing whose signature I *really* want to get on one of my comics)....yeah, I'm a nerd.

DD, I got that surgery when I was 6 months old. It is very safe and definitely fixes the problem. It is better to do it when the child is young this way it is conditioned and the correct to vision becomes second nature. My parents tried everything before the surgery...drops, patches, we couldnt use the glasses (who puts glasses on a 6 month old? impossible). It is not that invasive of a surgery (compared to others). It'll be fine though! 🙂

No problem. That's awesome. Yeah this thread can get pretty addicting. I think by going to bed at 12 am I'm playing it safe, but you wake up and there is a new Bible to read. lol. I liked immunology. Good luck with that...if you can do it, more power to you. I could easily do it in undergrad, and I dont even know how its possible in med school. I know a few older docs that did back in school though.

I can't handle the camera movements in BSG. I tried. I really did. I used to watch the original when I was little, and was really excited for the new one, but I was just really disappointed with it.

HAHA, fair enough. Yea probably not a lot of time to go running around to cons. Personally I never much got into them, but I can see why other people do.
Once we get down to FL, you'll have to come by and do some Good Eatsing with me! I LOVE to cook..I actually find it really cathartic so I plan to do a LOT during school!!
I gotta say, I'm a LITTLE worried that the roommates I've got lined up are gonna turn out to drive me crazy though. 🙁 Probably a completely unreasonable fear...*shrug*

That's funny that your dad had that too. Not funny ha ha funny, more like interesting funny. 😛 Apparently my husband had it when he was little but grew out of it. Of course there was no way they could have paid for any type of correction. I think maybe that's why my husband was hoping it could be corrected on its own or with something less invasive.
