What does it mean to have the interview status of...

"pending?" I've seen that a few times on these boards? Does anyone know cuz I may be in the same status with one university but I am not sure... they specifically stated that my app/file is being considered for further review and that they will schedule an interview with me if they have a time slot or something like that...does that mean i have interview pending status??

you should call and ask to get the best answer obviously but i think it just means that once they get to your file again and if there are any more interview slots open at that time........then you'll get one........and if not.......then no.

when people say "pending" here they mean the have recived an invite for an interview, but they have not set the date yet.
