when it says on the AMCAS login page

"AMCAS is currently marking transcripts that arrived on July 17th, 2007. Last Updated July 24, 2007 at 9:03AM"

Does it just mean that they are reviewing the primaries that have been submitted on that date? Or filing transcripts they received on that date? Thanks!

Also, I posted this question in another thread but does anyone know whether it would still be considered "early" if I have all my secondaries in by mid-August?

Transcripts that were physically/electronically received on that day are the ones being processed and marked "Received" on people's applications. Remember that while AMCAS may actually have your transcript, it will not be registered in their system until a good 1-2 weeks have passed.

Before, people had no idea when their transcript would be processed even though they knew it had been received. This gives people some sort of idea of how things are going (and it's important to send things in early).
