What does the IRS consider as a job in the same field

I have been a hospitalist for 3 years, last year I matched into a hematology fellowship. the IRS allows deduction of job hunting expenses in " the same field"...my question is : will the IRS consider hematology and hospital medicine as jobs in the same field?
