What does the series number for score release mean?

The score for June 15th test is out.
It seems there are two series numbers: 41 for morning section and 42 for afternoon section.
Does this mean the morning and afternoon section used different sets of examine? Or just used the same?

It just indicates that that was the 42nd test administration since god knows when. Like for instance, in August 2006 it was 32 or something like that. So if that was the case it just means that the test was administered 10 times before you took it.

They are counting the 8am test administration and the 12pm test administration as two separate test administrations since they were at different times even if they were on the same day.

This really doesn't affect anyone so I'm wondering why this is getting everyone worked up

Thanks for your input. I just want to compare my score with classmate who took it at a different time, but on the same day.
