Hey,

To anyone who may know. What GPA do you need to maintain in your final year of study if you receive an acceptance letter before then? Are you allowed to get 50% in each course. I know at some schools, They are so strict that getting a 3.0 in the final year, may even put at risk of losing your acceptance letter.

Thanks.

C'mon. Somebody, somewhere out there must have the answer to this.

For anyone that has been accepted, was there any written notification as to what kind of GPA you have to maintain? And for what school was it?

You've pretty much answered your own question.

It varies from school to school, but the standard is that you need to maintain a 3.0 and that you cannot fail or get Ds in the required science prereqs that you may not have finished by the time of your acceptance.

My letters said "upon successful completion" of remaining courses.

It probably does differ between schools, but where I will be going, they require a minimum grade of C for all remaining prereq's and successful completion of all degree requirements. I am not exactly sure if there is a GPA requirement, but I assume that it would have to be maintained at a number above their minimum for acceptance.

dude you just need to PASS your classes, for most schools as long as you get a C or better in your pre-req courses. If you got got accepted, you probably won't have a problem getting a C or better in any course.

Hey Armorshell,

I'm particularly interested in Columbia, and you mentioned that you need to maintain Cs.

I just finished writing my final exams, I have have gotten atleast a 3.0 on every single course in my final year. All except one course. I don't have the mark for it, but it might be between 50-60. Is it okay to have a single course less that a C? It is not a prerequisite course.

Thanks.
