Do the dental school really care about your grades after you have been accepted? I mean if you already have good grades on the prereqs but you end up getting a couple of C's or D's in your last semester classes, are they gonna do anything crazy like canceling your admission?

Thanks 🙂

depends on the school. I guess it also depends on the circumstance as well.

From what I've heard most schools are fine with C's. I don't know how much they appreciate D's though...

pitt puts u under committee review if any Ds or Fs show up.

You generally sign a statement stating that you will maintain the level of academic performance you have been achieving even after acceptance. Some schools allow C's, a D is really pushing it.

Here's a question, What about a C-? Is that classified as a C? I really wish I didn't have to ask this...

Thats why you don't get a C or a D.

I think a C- would be OK but then again who am i to say. In my letter from OHSU they said just don't get D's or F's, but that's about it.

It really depends on the schools. Some schools are fine as long as you pass all classes, but some schools like UOP requires students to get a B or better in each class.
