What happens if you get kicked out of residency?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
sounds pretty bad, not something you want to have when you have 300k of loans on your back.

She came from a wealthy family, daddy paid for her Caribbean medical degree. I wonder what the school thinks, probably nothing since most of those offshore schools only think about money. She should have known she was on thin ice as an IMG, do stupid things win stupid prizes.

I know that from the numerous pics she posted of herself on soctal media.

I think it might be against TOS to post her pics here but when I looked at that link of all her pics her boobs looked very real to me

even if they weren't, @rokshana is right, women of *all* walks of life get fake boobs, I've seen women start saving in high school and save for 6 years working at McD's to get a set

true dat j4pac (rhymes!)

but I didn't bring it up I'm trying to defend her because A) they look real to me and B) even if they weren't I'm not too sure it's something to pick on her about or something that should be used as evidence of her being spoiled and rich

I started a lounge thread to not get too off topic, I'm tired of seeing nice boobs denigrated

Welcome to this brave new world of Internet outrage and virtual lynching.

It was an anon on 4chan that did it for the lulz. Some people do what they must because they can.

It's more then lulz. There is some definite bent up frustration with cute, privileged girls that sets the internet trolls on a war path. The obsession some people have with this girl is pretty pathetic.

I think you misunderstand how they choose targets and why they do what they do. It isn't about her as an individual, it is about an opportunity to destroy something beautiful. A career, a life, a business- doesn't matter, they destroy for the sake of destruction. They're not TRP or any other such nonsense, there is no message. I can dig up several examples ox their male victims- they don't exactly discriminate.

That is what is meant by the lulz- it's not laughs, it's wanton destruction. While amusing to watch in a train wreck sort of way, I really think they took things too far- they photoshopped nudes and sent thousands of emails to all of her co-workers and family. Really horrible stuff. Any one of us is one step away from being on their radar and having our lives burned to the ground.

It's not just doctors they go after. Chick fil a guy, taco bell guy etc.
As far as I know, none of us here had any hand in destroying anything of hers.
I'm just saying she'll land on her feet as she has money to land on.

The premed process usually weeds many of these spoiled brats out (and looks like would have weeded this one out, but she went Carib). There were lots of her type in college, a few still made it through medical school and residency.

The universe eventually course corrects. Kudos on Jackson Memorial for firing her ass.

To be honest, I think the pre-med process actually selects for narcissistic spoiled brats more than weed them out.

And I agree with rokshana. This girl definitely has loans. Think about it: a year at SGU is about $100k when all is said and done. Even if her father were making $500k per year (before taxes), he'd still have to give up 20% of his income to pay for her school. That would be tough for someone to do close to retirement. I knew lots of classmates with parent MDs in med-school. Most of the parents were only able to subsidize a small portion of their tuition, if anything at all.

I watched an interview (yes, I'm obsessed) where she said that her dad is a disabled truck driver and her mom is a secretary. Not sure where people are reading or hearing that her family is loaded.

Her dad is a neurologist at Jackson Memorial and mom works at Barry Univ.

Those born from humble backgrounds don't generally act this way.

Looks like a guy with the same last name practices in the area. What does that prove?

I don't want to sound more emotionally invested in this story than I am, but I was simply trying to find a source that says he is her father. I can't find one.
Go straight to the source. Don't rely on us.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anjali_ramkissoon
Oz was born in 1986 in Miami, Florida to Bridglal and Patricia Ramkissoon. Her father Bridglal is a part of the Neurology department at Florida Hospital[2] Mustafa, and her mother Patricia is a part of the division of nursing at Barry University[3]. She then attended Barry University, where she graduated from in 2008, and went on to attend St. George University Medical School in Grenada, obtaining her M.D. in 2012. After graduating from medical school, she became a resident at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami until she was fired in 2016[4].

Its as if I'm not even here :ninja:

Guys, again, all this does is show a person who has the same last name works in the area. I don't care if wikipedia says it. Since when did wikipedia become a valid source? The only source the wikipedia page uses anyways is the one already linked to on this page, and nowhere does it say he is her father.

Where is your father listed with you on the net? Wiki?

Not quite sure what you mean by that.

But anyways, there is an attending at my hospital with the last same as me. I'd hate for him to do something terrible and newsworthy, and then have a bunch of internet griefers on SDN start assuming he's my father with no proof at all.

It's pretty easy to clarify. Your ability to track down people and their whereabouts via the interwebs and networking is very sadly lacking- not only was her father verified as a physician, but a physician with numerous complaints, garnering a "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" sort of response in regard to her behavior.

We are talking about minority Indians living in the same Miami area sharing the same last name and in similar institutions. You are suggesting they're NOT related? Lol.. I bet she friend-zoned you, too.

Upon googling it earlier today, I found the same links that have been posted above. None of them say he is her father. I jumped into this thread to see if there was something I was missing, but apparently there isn't. When I asked for a reliable source, nothing was provided.

I think your ability to distinguish between what is fact and what is possible coincidence is what's lacking.

Btw, for all the "detectives" out there, ex-neurology girl's "father" is an active twitter user and is very easy to find. Really surprised I was the one to find that since I'm apparently so bad at finding things online.

I suppose if someone wanted to find out if he really was her father, one could simply tweet at him...that, or creepily comb through his thousands of tweets in hopes of finding a random picture of his "daughter" as I'm sure some of you will now do...

I have a very uncommon last name, and yes, we are the same ethnicity. It happens. Actually, that is the very reason I started asking questions on this thread. It sort of piqued my curiosity. Sorry if that bothers you. I have never met this woman, and I'm somewhat apathetic to the whole situation since I don't know her personally.

3:45 in is where her sister says their dad is a disabled truck driver, mom is a former secretary.

Could she be lying? Sure, but it's a really stupid thing to lie about, and her sister (an attorney) should know better.

She lied about being a neurologist.
She also mentioned how nobody would believe that a tiny girl could attack a male uber driver.
Too bad the social media warriors had her on tape.

Sure.
It can be coincidental when you have an isolated individual with the same last name in the same area. But a man and a woman who both happened to be at the same institutions that this girl was a part of at various stages of her education is not purely coincidental.

trust me...as the daughter of a Urologist (and they make substantially more than a truck driver or a neurologist), I still had loans coming out of school...not as large as my many of my classmates who took out full loans, but I'm still paying on them...

Do you have extra money for plastic surgery?
And she will be fine.
my weakness is handbags and not saying i wanted for anything, but even the well paid physician is going to have difficulty coming up with 100K a year for one kid to go to school and still meet their other financial obligations...you're a doctor...could you spend 100k on your kid?

Did you go to a carribean $chool too? Because if Urologists makes median 325k -> net 195k at least. If you're a fellow, then you probably went to school when in-state tuition was max 25k average and out-state max 40k average. Not a problem at all for someone who might have been making 325k for many years.

yes i did...and that was 10 years ago when the COA was closer to 50K/year...

and its not like i'm the only one my father was responsible for...and to expect my parents to take out the loans when i'm capable of doing so as Grover suggest is the definition of entitled...

and grover you are woefully misinformed (or come from family money yourself and have a skewed idea of the world) as to the amount of loans that IMGs have to take out...and weirdly obsessed with this girl and hatred for her...what did she do to you?
