For $4M here in the midwest, I could build a house so big I could have my own ocean...

$4 million seems really cheap for Maui oceanfront. Houses in Miami Beach or Coral Gables on the water are around $5-30 million, and they dont get any views of whales.

It is, actually, a pretty good deal, as for the size, rooms, and view, when compared to the $1million clapboard beach houses here on O'ahu, which blow over in moderate winds.

My wife loves to sing, and I had been thinking of getting her a home karaoke setup. Unfortunately even the most expensive sets get pretty bad reviews, with some being DOA. Instead I decided to invest in pro audio gear for her- I picked up a Roland KC-150 amp, a Boss VE-20 vocal effects processor, and a Shure SM58 microphone. She's so happy and singing her heart out now! There's a mac program called kjams that will strip the vocals off mp3s if you want to go all the way.

for christmas:

I want a patient who pays cash for my opinion, doesn't play mind games and is willing to try (at least a tiny bit) to get better with some exercise/stretch recommendations...

And you won it, lol!

I have that book, along with Players Handbook, DM guide, Monster Manual, etc. They've been in a box and carted from one residence to another for the past 25 years.

personally, im partial to "Deities and Demigods"

I was banned from buying it for myself - i.e., I expect it will under the Xmas tree in a few days.

pmr4msk: prepare your wife to become a skyrim widow...

my spouse out-smarted me though - she won't let me play it on my monster gaming rig - instead, i have to play it on my laptop while seated next to her while she watches Pride/Prejudice for the 43rd time... upside: i get to play the game - downside: i have to dial down the graphics a bit for the laptop...
