what is a "preliminary report" on part 1?

I received a "preliminary report" from Joint Commission which showed my score for part 1, but it was mailed 5 days after I took the exam. Should I expect to receive a final report or is this score the final score? It was mailed much faster than the 2-3 weeks the website talked about, so I was wondering if a final score will be sent later on.

Any ideas?
