D deleted407021 Jul 8, 2015 #2 Salts are composed of ionically bonded metals and non-metals. Examples would be NaCl, CaCl, NaOH, etc. Some are basic while others may be acidic, depending on their charge and presence of H+ donating/accepting species. Upvote 0 Downvote
