what is so special about kaplan class

how much kaplan class or tutor helps?
or should i just buy kaplan book and study myself..
y'all how much the class or tutor improve the score?

depends on how you are. if you are able to study on your own, i say get the kaplan book along with the subject tests here on the forums. now if you dont think you can study on your own, kaplan or any other prep test course may work for you.

I took Kaplan during the fall semester along with a full course load. I did not find it to be helpful whatsoever. My teacher also couldn't have cared less about teaching the class. So, I bought used the Kaplan book (same as blue book I think) and taught myself everything. I also did not find their PAT to be too helpful either.

I dont like the classroom setting, so I brought the kaplan book and just studied on my own.
