Majority as in, not how you see yourself but as you see your peers.
I almost selected greedy but thought more about it. Being a cynic, that's what I look for but it's not usually what I find. Every pain doc I know tries to empathize with pts and find a solution to their problem. Compassion.
Two words come to mind when I think of my Pain colleagues: Humble gratitude. I'm never more inspired than when I'm scrolling through my linked-in feed and seeing how pain physicians have dedicated their careers to improving the quality of life for others.
Self affirmation?I’ve never really understood LinkedIn as social media. Who is all the posturing for? Do patients actually look at it?
I'm good enough,Self affirmation?

Just simple ‘unfrozen caveman’ pain physicians...Just like everyone else..just trying to live and make a living
or the inevitable " oh I need you to refill my hydrocodone"Don’t know about others but cynicism and jade defines me these days, especially after I finish a new patient encounter and the patient asks me one last question, and I brace for inevitable “can you fill out my disability paperwork?”
