Before I start this thread, I just want to say I'm incredibly grateful for the IIs I've gotten. I'm just seeking to gain a little bit more understanding on if my situation is typical/atypical.

So far, I've recieved 4 IIs (2 from T10 schools, and 2 from relatively lower prestige schools). I'm a little concerned that I haven't heard anything from my "match" schools (T20-T40 from a stat perspective). Is it common to have such a disparity in interviews? Should I still expect more interviews from my match places?

LM: 77, WARS ~95 for context

60% of applicants don't get anything.

It's a seller's market.

Will also preface that I’m very lucky and grateful for my current situation. I’m in a pretty similar spot (LM 74), with 2 T10 interviews, one mid tier, and the rest lower prestige schools. I was, and still am, a little confused about the disparity but you gotta take what you can get!

I’m thinking yield protection may be at play, but who knows. I’m also thinking that the mid tier schools could be waiting to offer a later date to see if I’d actually still be interested (which I think is a smart move because if I receive acceptances in November, I would indeed decline interviews at the mid tiers)
