what is wrong with

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
They purposefully don't fill in the Match since they think they can get better candidates (such as yourself) in the Scramble.

It's in a nice area of Brooklyn (Park Slope) with a short commute to Manhattan. If it's all you can get, then take it-- but they work the housestaff pretty hard.

Give him a day or two. consider the NYM Program as a backup if things do not work out with the PD's.

What is wrong with NY's methodist hospital? Anyone know? They still have 6 positions in their medicine program open and 10 in their medicine-primary care program.

Is there something seriously wrong with the program? I am skeptical of a program with so many open spots.

Like it's been said before, be proactive. Use the search function:

Whether you take the bird in hand, however, is up to you alone.

I don't know much about the hospital, but I am very familiar with the area Park Slope. Not only will you have good training and a fun time, you will be in close vicinity to the highest concentration of derm programs in the country...NYC. When you take electives, it will be easy to rotate at some of the best derm programs in the country without having to travel far.
