Kinda want to shoot two birds with one stone here. Anyways my situation:

-I'm a senior B.A in Math and Economics will graduate this year
-I already signed up for CSU East Bay's postbacc program for health (don't know if I got admitted yet)
-My current goal is to be a Pediatrician.
-Planning to work around 20hours a week part time if I get into postbacc

My idea is to get a job next year whether or not I get into the postbacc program. Ideally, I'm going to pre-study for some of my science classes before each quarter.

So I want to hear some of your experiences with jobs while doing a postbacc in premed. I was thinking of doing Part-time teller at a local bank. I think it would be better if I can do a part time job that is associated to the health field, but I don't know what kind of part time jobs are available for health.

-And is over-qualification going to be an issue for job seeking (e.g. will my Bachelors affect my chances of getting into a teller position?)
-Also one job I thought about was doing a part time pharm tech position. Assuming I get the pharm tech certification, will it be a positive factor for enrolling in med school?

pharm tech IS good because its related to the medical field. If you cant find a healthcare job though, I would sau find ajob doing something you enjoy. Its helpful to have that balance for school stresses.

Go to the careers website of a local hospital. You can usually find postings for technician work such as Phlebotomist, Pharmacy assistant, Histologist or other surgical assistant.

The downside is you need certification for a lot of these types of jobs, however, for some it is only 'recommended' and you can easily pull it off with a good resume and interview.

In this economy, a Bachelor's degree is a fantastic qualification for starting a career at McDonald's.

Depending on location, you might have to settle for anything you can get. That said, any job that involves working w/ the public (like being a bank teller) would be good. I wouldn't bother w/ the hassle of getting a license you'll probably never need again.
