What kinds of vehicle are you driving as D1?

Still debating. I think I'm gonna leave my car at home.

But if I do take it with me, it's going to be a messed up 05 Toyota haha. Trust me when I say messed up. That thing has been through hell and back with me 😀

I'll be driving a vehicle that works (rusty, 100,000+++ miles). 🙁

Nothing special at all, it looks pretty bad actually.

I'll just be driving it around until the wheels fall off. 😛

ouch... where u planning to park? I heard parking near temple is very expensive (on a monthly basis)

Anyways, to OP. I drive a Ford F-150. God bless the V-8 especially since gas is almost $4 a gallon.

Bicycle for me.
I can work out my butt, legs, and ballzzzz all at once.

Carpool 4 days a week and drive my 4dr honda civic with 160,000+ miles... The better the gas milage the happier my wallet is 😉

I havent decided...Ferrari enzo or Ferrari 599 hahahah just playing

Man, our family used to own a 91 Corolla. Got it to like 230,000 miles before we sold it (started having minor problems at 210k). Now that's what I call hardy. I miss that piece of junk 🙄

1992 honda accord with 240,000+ miles and still rolling strong. I wish i was driving a 2011 Wrx, I envy you sir.👍

Amen to that! Im driving an '08 Ford Explorer with a V8!

When I first got my license in high school my parents were generous and bought me a brand new 2002 Honda Accord. Still have it... and planning to have it through at least the next 4 years! I suppose for its age it's still a baby since it only has 83k miles.

I need to get rid of my junk car sooner or later (160000 miles)

we just replaced our 2003 kia with 170k miles and two accidents with a new kia forte but my wife gets that vehicle. Ill be driving my 2001 gmc sierra diesel ($$$ yikes). however, I may decide to go with the bike as well.

flinstones mobile (preferred), or a benz.
havnt decided.

I don't knwo why, but personally I think AUDI will be best fit for health care provider. Don't you guys think?

AUDI A4 or better

You guys suck, I'm going to drive a spaceship or maybe a Bugatti Veyron 🙂

On the serious note, I don't think I'm going to bring my car, because I think I will be studying the majority of the time. If I need a car, I can always go for a Zipcar.

I'll be driving 2002 Acura RSX, riding a bike, or taking a bus depending on the day

Depends on if you're buying or leasing lol. Buy=A4, lease...go with the A5!

No better yet, S5.. mmmmm.... 😀

I will probably drive my 1987 Fiero if its running then or my 1998 Buick that has 185,000 on it now so it will probably have 200,000+ by then. I have a while before i am a D1 but had to post about my Fiero if I get a chance 🙂.

I lease an 09 civic.... it's under warranty while I drive it, affordable payments and 30-36 mpg

Parking at our apartments, we get a spot for free. I'm not expecting to drive to campus really, just trying to have a car down there

'07 350Z here. I won't be driving much though since my apartment is just across the street from the dental school.

I'll be driving the one and only car I ever owned... 2004 Acura TL 🙂

Houston parking SUCKS 🙁 🙁 $160 for parking per month 😱
We have the shuttle luckily so don't have to drive the car to school.

I do have a 2010 Camry to drive within Houston.
If a stupid HS girl hadn't knocked me into a truck, I would still be driving my beloved 2000 Honda Accord 🙁

Was there a cell phone involved?

None. Thank god with the gas being 4$ 😴

I was thinking about getting one of those electric scooters/bikes, but then again, I would probably chicken out from driving one...even if its only in the city

'07 accord...about the same amount of features as an economy rental car, but I do get 30+ mpgs 🙂

I don't know. But her daddy/cop did show up to the scene. Haaaha. She didn't get a ticket.
I was so pissed though. Even though we got the $$ back for how much the car is valued at... you KNOW a Accord lasts for EVER. I would have loved to use it throughout dental school so I could buy a car of my choice after graduating... but now my Camry is going to be my best friend for a whiiile.

As of right now I'll be driving nothing 🙁
My car just died last week /cry
170k miles on my 98' camry.

Cant believe she didnt get a ticket. But a 2010 camry will be good car for along time. Its to bad a car payment came with it.

yeaaah but the whole idea was to buy a NICE car once I can afford it myself.
hehe.
eh, whatever. i have a car. haha.

It's a German turbocharged AWD sedan and I'll finally be able to have some proper fun in the PA snow! 😍

Since I didn't get my first car until I was 20, (22 now) I will still be driving that. It's a 2006 Suzuki Forenza- I get great gas mileage, and I'm only 2 miles from school so I'm hoping it lasts a long time. We may also start a carpool list for our apartment complex since there are like 8 or more D1's living there. Parking is like $30/mo at U of L or so I've heard.

If I had $ I'd buy a Range Rover ahhhhh they're so pretty. Then again I may reconsider if gas prices are still ridiculous. 🙂
