This sounds to me like a medical school interview question. If I would be asked this question, I am sure my answer will have a good amount of sarcasm, wit and maybe a little bit of truth. In reality none of us can truly know what is that makes us unique and makes us stand out from all other applicants and those of us who think we do have egos the size of new york. I believe that a person cannot possibly know why he or she is unique unless someone tells him or her the answer to that question. I also believe that the only people who can truly answer the question of what makes you unique and fit for medicine are your friends, coworkers and patients. The fact is that you cannot possibly judge your own greatness by only your opinion. It is only when you consider the opinion and input of others you can fully grasp what makes you "unique" and fit to heal.
With this said, I hope you all find what is unique about you.
