Overall GPA: 3.67
BCPM GPA: 3.45
Second time applying with 2 gap years.

1st attempt at MCAT: 507 - (125 Chem/physics) (127 CARS) (127 Bio/Biochem) (128 Psych/Soc)
2nd attempt at MCAT: 511 - (127 Chem/physics) (126 CARS) (130 Bio/Biochem) (128 Psych/Soc)

Hospital Volunteer - 99 hours
Shadowing/Volunteer Scribe - 375 hours. The specialties I shadowed were pain management, spine intervention, nephrology, oncology, pulmonology, and general surgery. I served as a volunteer scribe at a pain clinic to gain experience while applying for paid scribe positions elsewhere.
Research at biophysics labs - 120 hours, no publication
Research at Cystic Fibrosis center - 100 hours, no publication but waiting to see if abstract will be accepted by conference for poster presentation.
Served as member of Planning/Programming Committee for Minority Rights Coalition - 30 hours
Volunteer Tutor for Refugee Children - 60 hours

Currently volunteer Instructor of Anger Management Class at a jail - 113 hours by projected end date
Currently volunteer at a free clinic (take vitals and scribe for providers) - 335 hours by projected end date
Currently work as a scribe at a bone marrow transplant clinic - 1367 hours by projected end date

I suggest targeting these schools, but invest in MSAR Online and remove any where your GPAs are < their 10th %iles.

And beggars can't be choosy, you need DO schools on your list.
