Hey all premolars, let's not get so consumed in just one thing and forget other little things in life. Relax. Enjoy!

I can't seem to get this song out of my head...

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

http://www.kiisfm.com/cc-common/videos_on_demand/player.php?track_id=10173&s=S&playGateway=exiting
Check it out. Are there anything like Grey Tooth?

What songs or kind of music do you premolars and molars listen to? 😀

ps: If you got cool links to share, post em too plz 🙂

I happen to like that song as well !

Well, you can probably guess which music I like..

I listen to almost everything but excessive hiphop/rap/country.

The bands that I listen to are too many to list. 🙂

-stones-

everything..
right now. i've got eric clapton, promise -ciara, smack that- akon, julio iglesias and esena mono (summer dance remix) by keti garbi [greek] on repeat. 🙂

I'm kind of tired of listening to that song. I've already heard it a lot in my car over the radio lol

I listen to a little bit of everything, but Texas Country is my fave.

I listen to absolutely everything, but I'm particularly fond of Muse, Coldplay, and Jason Mraz. 🙂

Damien Rice

Notorious BIG

Tim McGraw

Jack Johnson (a must these days)

Sarah Mclachlan (yes I said Sarah Mclachlan)

and a jit load of others on the ipod nano

Every girl I have dated has opened my eyes to new great music.

bon jovi, beatles, eagles, ray charles, and pretty much everything 80's!

I listen to everything but country!!! Akon, P diddy, Nickelback, etc etc

Pretty much everything...including country. But lately, I've been into a lot of hip hop. Common, Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Brother Ali are being played the most on my Ipod.

how about old school stuff like- A Tribe Called Quest?, or DE LA Soul? anyone? you all know the ROOTS are sick also.

I can appreciate and listen to just about everything. I used to spin rap, hip hop, and r&b as an undergrad, so I have a particular liking for that area of music. I do however, listen to, and used to spin trance, progressive, and house music. So from mainstream r&b, to underground hip hop, to trance, to country, I honestly listen to just about everything!

same here as my husband above 😀, I listen to pretty much anything.

my lates obession : Evanesence. I love JT.......i really want those concert tickets in March! Snow Patrol is my favorite CD when I am depressed. ***** Cat Dolls are H-O-T , and their music is not half bad. Under The Influence of Giants is totally crazy... The Panic At The Disco rocks. Etc.... I can go on forever. My coworker likes Celine Dion, he is a 50 year old asian Senior DNA Analyst, Ph.D.... go figure. I am forced to listen to that at work!!

I listen to almost everything. R&B, Rap/Hip-hop, Pop, Reggae, Gospel, Country, a little classical and jazz, alternative, dance...

Right now I'm really feeling Justin Timberlake (LOVE his new album), Ciara, Lupe Fiasco, Jay Z, Natasha Bedingfield, Beyonce, Rihanna, Fergie, Panic at the Disco, Chris Brown, Bow Wow, Christina Aguilera, Cherish, Pussycat Dolls,Sean Paul, etc., etc., etc. The list goes on & on. 😀

lupe fiasco's new cd is tight. john mayer and van morrison, the doors. man, i listen to just about anything...

has anyone heard jay-z's new cd? my buddy burned a copy and there's about 3 decent songs. myface cd of his was reasonable doubt, ever since they've seemed to get progressively worse. poor hova.

david gray is some excellent music for studying and that morning drive to class at 7am.

It's always been my experience that people who listen to everything, don't. Sure, you'll tolerate stuff outside of your purvue but you really have 20-30 songs playing over and over again on your ipod, don't you? 😉

As for me, I like everything

wigglytooth & 4thQuarterDreams, that's a pretty cool site. thanx

It seems like alot of predents here have a very broad taste of music. I listen to all kind of music too..but some of the mentioned group or songs I never even heard off.

Are you an iPod fan? iPod don't have all the features I need so I've been using iriver and emule-project to get my music.

right now...i'm at work listening to JT - Sexy Back

same here as my husband above 😀, I listen to pretty much anything.

heh...didn't know you guys are married and on the same forum. Congratz! Competition in the house...so who's going to be the better dentist? j/k 😀

 I love your sense of humor...you are so funny!

I am hooked on Grey's Anatomy Season 2 Soundtrack right now.

But, because I truly do love music and love to experience lots of different genres, but I only listen to hip/hop and rap when my teenager is playing it on itunes or in the car.

Old school country (Cash, Cline, Williams, Carter family),
New Country (Alan Jackson, George, Garth),
New New Country (Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland),
Emo (Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, Bowling for Soup),
Classical (Mostly the Baroque period...Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Haydn),
Blues (esp SRV), Jazz (Coltrane, Miles Davis),
Rock (Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Maroon 5),
old stuff (80's, etc),
Christian (Chris Tomlin, Passion Band, David Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Aaron Shust)
Jack Johnson, Harry Connick, John Mayer

Funny you posted this. I'm currently listening to A Tribe Called Quest from THe Low End Theory album, probably one of my fav. groups and most influential hip hop groups. I listen to good indie music, not a fan of mainstream music that record labels try to push on our society. Some of my favorite indie groups are interpol, the pixies, the cure, radiohead, dandy warhols, the shins, built to spill, the pharcyde, common, atmosphere, del tha funkee homosapien, RJD2, etc.....I could go on and on, I love music.

Hell yeah. I actually saw a concert at UC Berkeley a couple years ago with De La Soul and Hieroglyphics. It was insane!

roots, tribe called quest, delasoul, and common-good tunes, very good music.
the song Be by common might be the most motivating song ive heard, it's pretty intense.

Try checking out Common's song I Used To Love H.E.R. It still gives me chills, it's one of the best all time hip hop songs in my book.

Nope not me, I have 3,662 songs on my iPod now. I just throw it on shuffle and love every song.

24/7 country

Wow! I'm from North Carolina...they play country 24/7 here. I can handle a bit of country music once in a while but 24/7? Maybe if I get myself a mountain girl then I'll listen to it more often while brewing moonshine.

preach, me too. i have such a large scope of genres on my classic 2003 iPod.

Haha, well if we go to the same d-school we could swap some good music. Cheers.

Can't a 26 year old like van halen? I like Van Morrison, too 😉 I take credit for getting a whole lab of Virginians into country. Now come on.... I'm from NY. They are supposed to get ME into country!

🙄 My ipod is dead. I am thinking of getting that microsoft version, what is it called....zune or something.

ipods suck, after a while they just stop charging! Well mine is three years old, maybe that is why! But has anyone bought zune yet, and if so what do u think, good/bad things...

I might just go for ipod shuffle... they are much cheaper. 🙄

heheh you remind me of a friend of mine. He was 29 when he started medical school. He is a big fan of van halen, i always teased him of how old he is!

J.k. Van Halen rocks.

they told me about this when i first bought it, but they said it won't happen for awhile.
well it's been 3 years and it's still going strong, i honestly use it for about 2 hours everday too!

I love Radiohead. I'm looking foward to hear their new album. One of the new songs they were playing last summer was "Nude" and I absolutely love it
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ou3RrIxurdA

The Eraser is great too

Besides Thom or Radiohead, I like Muse, Damien Rice, Andrew Bird, Blur, Rilo Kiley, Pink Floyd, The Arcade Fire.. and some foreign music in Spanish, French and Arabic 😀

6342 songs...almost all reggae and still picking up more everyday 😍

THey need to start making 80-100gb ipods so I can fit my music/TV show/movie collection onto one 🙁

They should make a 1million gb ipod, where you wear the hard drive like a backpack

If my ipod was stuck on one band forever it would be Pearl Jam. I know they are so 15 years ago, but you can't beat Eddie Vedder with those vocals.

That defeats the purpose of an ipod.

By the way, how about the up and coming Zune (microsoft version) that'll enable you to download music directly from the mp3 player?👍 or 👎 (for those who hate monopolizers)
