Hi,
I am very confused about some of the issues of getting loans when one is an international student and applying with a cosigner.
I would appreciate if you could share your knowledge on the following questions that I have.
1} Some banks have caps on the amount that one can borrow for educational purposes. Is this true. Do you know which banks do not put a limit upto how much you can borrow?
2] What papers do the co-signer have to show. Some bank told me that they also require tax papers. Others told me that only there credit history is checked and may be they might ask for the pay checks. Did anyone had to show the tax papers? Please reply as this is very urgent.

I will greatly appreciate your help!!
Thanks,
Cheers:confused:

For dental school purposes a lot of banks don't have a limit, you should check the links in the Links of interest thread.
