I have interviews at LECOM and PCOM coming up. Does anyone have a sense of what percentage of interviewees actually get accepted? I am most interested in PCOM. And....I haven't heard from NJ or CCOM, although I was complete on 11/20. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks!

I think for LECOM it was something like 38% of interviewees get accepted, but I could be wrong. I remember it was less than half.

ouch.

Here goes:

LECOM -
In-state: 297 interviewed, 174 accepted*
Out-of-state: 888 interviewed, 345 accepted*

PCOM -
In-state: 309 interviewed, 237 accepted*
Out-of-state: 259 interviewed, 177 accepted*

Hope this helps.

*Note, this is the number of students who were ultimately accepted through regular admission and from the waitlist.

....it's interesting that lecom accepts fewer interviewees than pcom (instate)...I wonder if they interview a lower percentage of candidates???
i would think that pcom is generally more competitive and desireable in terms of location/ logevity etc???
I just hope I get into one of them!!🙂

First IS/OOS is for those who applied and got interviews. Second IS/OOS is for interviewed then accepted. Last is for applied and were accepted. Enjoy!

I wouldn't go so far as to say that they interview less qualified candidates. I think the percentage difference comes from the fact that the schools have different in-state preferences.
