Hi everyone. I was hoping to get some good information about which schools I should apply to since I am a reapplicant. I have non science GPA of 3.45 and science GPA of 3.15. I know schools are looking for people with higher science GPAs than that, so I don't want to have to have another year off before entering into dental program... This year (since I did not get in anywhere) I plan on spending in a master's program. Please tell me what you think. Thanks! 🙂

Go to grad school and show them that you can do well in science classes. My dentist did the same thing. He had a low gpa and went to grad school for 2 years and got all A's. He then got accepted into Northwestern.

Hope that helps.

3.15 isnt that bad at all..what were your DAT scores and where did u apply? Also what was your overall GPA? non-science GPA doesn't mean so much..mine is 3.86 and it got me bubkes for this year.

You shouldn't have to go to grad school because of a 3.15 science GPA, especially with your overall GPA. Study hard for the DAT and get great scores on the science sections. If you were going to think about grad school keep in mind that there are several 1 year programs specifically designed for pre-professional students with low GPA's, who are seeking acceptance to med and dental schools.
