unless you want to wade thru a zillion threads most of which are outdated, just go to each school's website and look up their stats. there are not that many do schools

Hi guys I need a little bit of help deciding on what schools I should apply to. I looked over AACOM's OM College information book and it was pretty useless. It does not provide any data for average gpa/mcat of those accepted or in state vs out of state. I am not familiar with the schools out there and would appreciate help in choosing schools.

My stats are:
29N MCAT (11 8 10)
3.0 Science, 3.2 overall
Cali Resident

What schools would I have no chance based on my gpa/mcat? what schools heavily favor in state or a specific race/ethnicity?

I am obviously applying to CA/Vegas schools. thanks in advance

Are you verified yet? My stats were similar (3.26 cGPA, 3.08 sGPA, 32Q MCAT) and I was accepted/got 6 interview invites, but I applied in June. If you are not verified yet, my gut feeling would be to not apply, but that's just my personal opinion. Also, can you detail your ECs? They can make or break an application. If you have very strong ECs, I might say apply. Otherwise, don't.

by verified do you mean GPA verified? no. but transcripts are in and ACCOMAS will be submitted tomorrow. EC's are okay, ucla volunteer and DO volunteer with letter. im still applying

I'd send it in asap and to a very broad array of schools. I feel like it's almost the point in the season where it's considered "late."

i agree. how long does gpa verification take? would i be able to add more schools after submitting accomas?
