Hi SDN,

I just took my DAT yesterday. 19AA/19QR/18RC/18Bio/19GChem/22OChem/19TS/19PAT.

My current oGPA is a 3.408, sGPA 3.23, and BCP 3.247.

I have been active in my school's pre-dental society, and I have done several state dental mission trips.
85 hours of volunteering, 50 hours of shadowing experience, and have done cancer research for about 4 months at my college.

Worked as a tutor, and bartender/waiter.

Right now I have about 20+ schools that I plan on applying to, but I wanted to see what schools I should add/remove from that list. I am a Texas resident as well.

Current List:
UT Houston, UTHCSA, Baylor Dallas, Boston University, Creighton, Marquette, Midwestern (IL & AZ), NYU, Nova, LECOM, Buffalo, Tufts, UCSF, Detroit Mercy, Louisville, Minnesota, UNLV, USC, Case Western, LSU, Roseman, and University of Maryland Baltimore.

Please help! Thanks, SDN!

Looks good!.

I'd pitch Maryland and UCSF if I were you. They mostly favor in-state students unless you have exceptional stats in the ballpark of 3.7+ GPA and at least 21s on DATs or some incredible ECs.

Thanks KittySquared! Good to know. I was thinking about dropping UCSF. I didn't know about Maryland though.
