What should I do before moving and started med school?

Hi everyone!

I will be moving from NJ to MO for med school. I have set up a time to go to MO and tour some apartments and get a tour at the school I will be attending. I was thinking that there probably should be more that I should be doing before I make the move. What else am I missing or should I be doing while I am in MO touring apartments and the school?

There are likely lots of things you need to do before matriculation. Hasn't the school told you about transcripts, immunizations/ health records or insurance, parking and equipment costs like scrubs, etc.? I'm sure they will tell you about orientation and what you need to do before it. Just ask.
