I will graduate after Fall semester from undergrad. and so I have a Spring and Summer semester before dental school starts. What should I do?

1) Take business courses (accounting, finance, business admin., etc.) or would that be a waste of my tuition money? How much do you learn in dental school about running your practice - employee management, accounting, finances, insurance, etc.??

2) Work full-time and save up a lot of money?

3) Something else/other suggestions?

Work for one semester so you can afford to go on an awesome vacation the second semester. You won't be free to travel for an extended period of time for a very extended period of time. Don't stress about business stuff. Will it really make sense when you can't tell a premolar from a tuberosity anyway?

work at a dental laboratory to get some experience with lab stuff and save money to go on a week long trip to mexico or the carribean with your buddies right before you start dental school

3) 2 chicks at the same time

(1) Maybe, depends on your school and how much they teach you -- ask them! Better yet, ask current graduating students from that school whether they think it's a good idea. My guess is probably not.

(2) Sure, if you need the money

(3) I'd go with a vacation, something relaxing and fun.

Wow - a vacation it is then. Thanks for all your input 😀
