I'm currently a junior and a half i guess. i took summer classes and class overloads to get there, but in my rushed, crammed life my GPA has fallen. (it might have something to do with takin org.chem, physics, botany an others in one semester.) My school offers the opportunity to retake classes and replace your grade. I have two C's in org chem and a couple more in other classes. Would it be in my best interest to retake my org chem classes over or should i just focus more on the rest of my classes? How much would those C's in org chem effect me when applying if i didnt retake it?

C's aren't good and you know that.
Your school won't replace the grades though right? The old grade still shows up? If it doesn't show up then your extremely lucky, but I think it will.
Both grades get calculated in.

the old grade doesn't disappear(i wish), but i was told that they only calculated the replacing one? was i told wrong?

Your school may only calculate the better of the two score, but when AADSAS calculates your GPA, both letter grades will be used.

yup,

and i was in teh same boat. i graduated a year faster but hte increased workload definitely HURT ME, in hindsight its better to take your time and get A's then to take 20-22 creds of B/B+ with an occasional A every semester, half of my transcript is filled with 4cred courses in bio and chem. for 3 semesters i even had to get written permission to take a class b/c i would be skipping half a lab to attend another professors lecture (that lab time had to be made up).

good luck getting out of the hole though, its TOUGH.
