What should I do?

No post bacs are nothing to do with dentistry, its basically taking few courses after grad to boost up ur undergrad gpa. a 2.93 is low, and definitly not competitive. and the dat scores are average (goodjob on ochem tho). Dental schools only look at extracuricular after the numbers. i emailed many schools and they imply that with a 2.90 (that i have) is not competitive at all, and i should do a masters. so do that do a masters a speical masters only 1 year and its a spearate mark than ur undergrad gpa, so if u can get a 3.8+ ull get in dental schools (http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=346106)

I wont hurt to get a 22+ DAT on all sections as well.
Ur italian so ur not an URM.

You're DAT scores are solid, DO NOT retake your DAT. Unless you really and truly believe you can do better, but those scores will get you into a whole bunch of schools. It's just your gpa holding you back, I'm not real savvy on master's and post-bacc programs, so I'll let the other people chime in on that. I wouldn't apply this cycle with that GPA. I'd do something to bring that GPA back up, but dental schools don't really care about the 40 hour a week work life and whatnot unless your application is at least DECENT. Then that stuff plays a factor. So GPA and DAT come first, you have 1/2 solid. Now comes the GPA work...
