Hello everyone. I am applying early decision to medicial school this fall so I'll find out whether I am accepted or rejected by October.

What could I do this year before medical school starts?

I looked in to an accelerated one-year MBA program but it's pretty intense and it ends right before medical school starts - I feel as though I should start medical school fresh. I was also thinking about taking some science classes because I have only taken the pre-med requirements, or becoming an EMT.

I would really appreciate if you could share any suggestions or thoughts you may have.

Thanks!

ahh well i guess vacationing is out of the question from the examples you gave. i was gonna say, work and make some money to be able to do things you won't be able to do for the next 4-8 years of your life.

i guess you could take some classes to keep your mind in school mode.
but out of the things you list, id go with an EMT cause that would be useful and interesting.

seriously...

work, earn money, travel, party your ass off

you'll never have this much free time again while you're young.

haha ditto.

i'm taking the year off too....but i'm applying now and not early decision.

i'm working, traveling, and having fun. 🙂

i figure after i *hopefully* get into med school, i won't have time to just enjoy everything..and then i'll be like 30 something before i can actually start working...
