Hello everybody,

What do you think is best strategy to get started for FP residency in july?
How to utilise these 5 months in a productive way?
Which books to read?
Is it good to do observership?

Thanks so much!

depends who you are trying to impress.

if it is a school hellbent on rural work, then go into the bush and do something with a doc out there. if not, become a beer connoisseur for 5 months.

Hmmmmmm. Well, If you have the money. Go to Europe.
If you don't get a job. Keep up with the meidcine by reading journals in Family practice and review books. Drink beer, sleep, go out with your girlfriend as much as you can (because once you start residency you might not see her much), If you don't have a girlfriend, find one then go out with her as much as you can. If you can't find one, Drink more beer.

Good luck,

EH
