So in freshman year, I got a No Pass in 2nd semester of calc. I know the best way to remedy this is to retake the class for a better grade, but I am scared to do that as I know I am very weak in the second semester of calculus and am not very confident that I can get a good grade for this class.
There is a 2nd semester of calc offered from the math dept that is know to be reputably easier, but it's a different math series and will not work for the grade replacement. I don't know if getting a better grade in this class will tell adcoms anything about the NP I got in the other class. However, I feel that the advantage of this is that I get that 2nd semester of calc done with a better grade.
What should I do? I know the best way to resolve this is to retake the harder math series and get an A, but I know my abilities for math only go up to a certain point.
Advice please? Thank you.
