Okay, so I'm a total pack rat. And because of that, I still own just about every school book I've ever used in the last 20 years, be they in my house, my mom's house, or my future in-laws house. I need to make some space. So...

What would YOU do with your old MCAT study materials? I don't want to waste them by destroying them or throwing them away. I'd prefer to donate them to some needy pre-med. It would free up a whole shelf worth of space, and keep me from feeling guilty 😀

Maybe I could make a buck, even though they are all well-worn and marked up?
Btw, it's the PR set from the summer 2001 prep course, as well as several earlier prep books (call me a gunner, whatever! 😛)

you could sell them on ebay or amazon.com used books

I got nearly 300 bucks for my Kaplan study books + a few misc MCAT books on eBay.

I gave my Kaplan books / flashcards to people who couldn't take the review course. I'm not sure what I will do with my textbooks-I've heard that it's a good idea to keep them, but I can't imagine ever having to look something up in physics or genchem as a doctor. But what do I know?

put two stacks of five about three feet apart. plave a 1by6 board on top. voila - a custom bench.

I gave all my prep materials to the library in the town where I grew up. No one there has any money and NO ONE goes to med school. Perhaps some kid will see the books in the library and get dreaming? I used the LSAT prep books in my school library to prepare for verbal.

The only book that has been somewhat useful to me is biochem. Actually I used my intro to bio book once too, if you can believe that. Of course, they have librarys in med school too, so if you really need anything you can probably find it there. 😀

same w/me... small town libraries are usually happy to take them!

I'm going to need those MCAT books soon; I'm taking the test in '04. I was planning on posting an "MCAT BOOKS WANTED" after the April test since I know you guys are still using them now to review.

If you want to get rid of them, keep me in mind. I'm definitely interested.

thx!

PR blocks sale of their stuff on ebay.

I am going to have a MCAT and Med School Admissions books buring party. I will never wanna see those darn books again in my life. Those are books of nightmare, pages of death and they should be destoryed.
